I logged into my account to try out the VPN. I get to the screen shown in the attached image. It wants me to "go to the open panel and turn it on." What is the open panel it refers to?

I get REAL tired by the amount of resources Firefox eats up with each open window. For whatever reason, having multiple windows open prevents Facebook from loading. I'll get 1 story and a "shorts" bar but THAT'S IT. Even clicking the story to rate or comment does nothing. If I start to delete windows; it will decrease the memory usage and then it will open.

However, I DO NOT WANT TO CLOSE MY WINDOWS IN ORDER TO OPEN FACEBOOK! Firefox should not be eating up that many resources. The open windows are of text and/or picture archives. There is no sound or video playing in the multiple windows open. My system literally has 128 gigs of ram memory so it seems very odd to me that Firefox is using between 11-13% with nothing running in the 15 windows I have open.

I've noticed for awhile that when exiting Firefox (currently 150.0.3) open tabs no longer close. When I re-enter Firefox (new start) I no longer get my home page. I've tried all key combination of exiting as well as the X. I searched this community and WWWeb and found nothing usefull.

При установке параметра "Настройки - Основные - Открывать Firefox автоматически при загрузке компьютера" в реестре создается запись HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run - Mozilla-Firefox-E385C0CFD98A494C: "путь-к-файлу\firefox.exe" -os-autostart Что за параметр командной строки -os-autostart? На на сайте поддержки Mozzila не нашел, ни интернет не подсказал. Я понимаю, что это автозапуск Firefox при запуске Windows. Но что конкретно делает данный параметр?

I have two profiles, one for work and one for my personal in the same account. I need to sync both of my profiles but do not want the information in the two profiles mixed together. I need to sync the information as I have a desktop and a laptop that I use for work, and mobile devices and another laptop for personal matters. If I am on work travel and need to access my personal profile on my laptop (because schlepping two machines is silly!), I want to switch my profile to the personal one. then when I am done I want to switch back to the work profile. How can I do this and is firefox set up to do this?

Firefox dropdowns, menus and popup menus do not appear after resume from suspend on Ubuntu 22 or 24 This has been happening for only the last few weeks. Even dropdowns on web pages do not appear. I can click the dropdown and cursor down then hit ENTER to change a dropdown's value but I cannot see anything while I'm doing it. On the menus, I can use hotkeys if I remember them but the menus themselves do not appear. Right-clicking to get a context menu also does nothing but it behaves like it did. If I right click something, nothing changes on screen but if I then click another link or button, the first click is swallowed to dismiss the non-existent popup.

Other apps on the system work fine including Chromium browser.

This only occurs if I start Firefox then suspend the machine and then resume from suspend. After resume, the menus, dropdowns and popups no longer appear.

I am running Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS on a Dell Optiplex 3050, Core i3-7100x4 , 16 GB ram, Intel HD graphics 630 (KBL GT2), Gnome 46, Wayland windowing system.

I tried Firefox safe mode, clearing the caches, etc. Nothing worked.

Using firefox 140.6.0esr on Windows 10 with noScript and uBlock Origin

Infrastructure for my health insurance provider website uses a self-signed certificate. The infra has a different URL from the main page and was initially failing with "CORS failed", which turned out to be the cert issue.

I copied the infra URL from the dev tools network log and opened it directly, and accepted the invalid cert. I can see the new exception in cert_override.txt.

Then, after unblocking the site in uBlock origin, POST and GET requests to the infra URL succeed, but OPTIONS requests are still failing with "CORS failed", and security status "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER"

Is there anything else I can do so the OPTIONS request honors the exception in cert_override.txt?

I'm unable to download any of my Intel updates. I've turned everything off that I know could be blocking it and authorized Intel as a safe download. I don't know what else I can do please help. Google states that I should be able to go to the shield and the address bar and turn off the enhanced tracking protection however it will not allow. I've gone to the settings page and set it to custom as well as clear all check marks in that setting. Still nothing will not allow me to download my updates for my Intel drivers. Please help

Best topic is covered by all of the options, unfortunately! If I have done anything incorrectly it was done thru lack of tech savvy for which I apologize for. I have to go take care of the horses now, thank you for any help you may have.

On my home screen, the visited sites are all crammed to one side, lower left, and all narrow in their appearance. I prefer they look as they did before, with the "tabs" or site boxes along the bottom of my regular sites. And I can't seem to "delete" the sites I visit; I can only dismiss them. And that often doesn't work as well either.
