I don't know what to do when February 29 is in my calendar, 2026 is not a leap year. I've found nothing to help me. I have the latest version if Thunderbird. Thanks

Well on May 14th it said in synced all my data on fire fox. I guess because I downloaded what's app and put my telephone number in my computer. Plus this is a school computer. Will that hurt anything.

Clearly, this is a very basic question which has undoubtedly been answered before, but I haven't been able to find it. If Thunderbird had an old-style Help feature with an index, I could probably look it right up. But coming to the forum is the only option the program gives me.

I was cleaning up my Inbox when I looked at the "Important" folder. I read in a number of places that this is a "Gmail" thing, and messages get in this folder apart from any action etc on my part.

I have a couple questions.

FIRST, are the emails in the "Important" folder only in that folder or are copies in there? I deleted a number of 2 to 3 year old emails that I do not consider important today. The closer I get to this year [2025], the more careful I get.

SECOND, how can the auto-population of that folder be stopped and the folder be deleted? I keep my important emails in designated folders so I can find them.

I do not understand what is meant by the address bar in the info about stopping the Passkey notice in Firefox. I tried typing in the line where the description of the webpage is located with no success. This line: (.https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/firefox/form).

My cat jumped on my keyboad and Firefox detected 'unusual activity' She probably hit a combination of keys which lead to said activity. Instantly, I had to verify whether I was a human. I did, but really, it was my cat. Neither my cat, nor myself have bad intentions. I just thought Firefox security should know that these things might happen.

I hope that my cat's activity didn't compromise my account. Maybe 'unusual activity' should be less strict, though I do understand that Firefox must be vigilant. Maybe it would be a good idea to let users describe what happened, before sending Captcha?

Despite the fact that I have set Thunderbird to display messages as plain text, my needs are not being fully respected. If the message contains some form of markup, presumably HTML, the font size is not what I have chosen. Generally, the font size is smaller than what I have specified in the Thunderbird settings.

This is unacceptable. It is a usability / accessibility issue. If the user chooses Plain Text and sets a font size, they have done that for a reason. Which is accessibility. If Thunderbird ignores the needs of users and applies styling rules to messages, that is a failure state.

Is there some way to actually, truly, absolutely display all messages as plain text in a specified font, weight, and size? If not, what is the protocol for reaching developers so that they can respond to this issue?

Hello when downloading Firefox meet Apple iPhone App Store using iOS 16 it's an iPhone 8 when signing in specific password, however gave me the option to sign in with apple does that generate its own private relay email that will sync both fire fox with my iCloud back ups or do I have to go to sign in on my account generate a pacific password and then accounts.firefox.com with the generated password? in the last week or so anytime I click on a page a new tab will open with junk ads or a popup will come up on the screen and block content. They can be closed and deleted but it happens continually no matter what settings I have or preferences set. I have pop up blocker toggled in the settings and I have a Mozilla ad blocker but it is not working. Please help! this is really annoying!

I tried to connect to my personal outlook email account on a fresh installation of thunderbird mobile. The setup wizard gave the correct configuration as described in microsoft's official documentation. But the following error occured: Authentication unsuccessful, SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the Mailbox.

IMAP is enabled in microsoft's mail account settings on outlook.com.

Just started to use Thunderbird mail app on Android smartphone but it doesn't seem to be showing badge count for new emails & seems to be delayed in receiving new emails.

I have double checked the settings but cannot identify the correct setting to receive emails straight away?
