When it says "rename places.squlite", what do you rename it as???

My Firefox is slow in starting (windows as well).It tells me that an option to stop Firefox crashing or being slow is to rename "places.squlite" but what do you rename it as??

You can rename it to almost anything, as long as Firefox no longer recognizes that file on startup and creates a new file by that name.

Suggestions include - places.sqlite.old or maybe places.old.sqlite.

You can rename it to almost anything, as long as Firefox no longer recognizes that file on startup and creates a new file by that name.

Suggestions include - places.sqlite.old or maybe places.old.sqlite.
