One particular web site shows up as text only, no graphics, after I attepted to change a setting while streaming a video clip. IExplore shows the site correctly.

Windows XP. Firefox 3.6.12. Extensions Java console, AVG safe search, ADblocker plus, MS net framework assistant, Was watching a video clip on pbs. Full screen. The video menu did not want to go away. I right clicked on the video screen, changed a setting, in what I think was a filter setting and now I'm unable to get into PBS.org. Iexplore works fine. Uninstalling(saving all settings) and reinstalling firefox did not work.

Sounds that you blocked some content in Adblock Plus. You need to click the ABP icon and check what is blocked on that page.

Cor-el, you were right on. I disabled ABP and that solved the problem. Thank you.

I am having the same problem, but it was working fine 2 days ago and I didn't make any changes to ad-blocker and now some sites are only showing text,

It is still possible that an extension updated or that the website made changes to the code.
So it is worth to check that out.
