Hi I've used Firefox for decades. Now, since updating to Firefox 158.0 (aarch64) on my Mac Studio and a Macbook Pro, I’ve been unable to open my usual banking websites. They still work in Safari on the same Mac & Macbook Pro and through the banks’ iPhone apps.

Have any recent Firefox security or privacy changes affected banking websites? Which settings should I check, and how can I safely allow these sites without disabling protection for all websites?

Hi, there's nothing specific, but in general you might be getting "unrecognized device" classification from the banks' security systems after updating — see support.mozilla.org/questions/1588410 how to check if there's e.g. a common service provider for the sites you frequent above — that could explain this.
