can't find tab grouping on android
Hello,
I don't know if it's because I don't have the latest version of Firefox. But I cannot find tab grouping. I have checked to see if there is an update, but I can't find any update at all so just wondering what's going on. the version of Firefox I'm using is: 153.0 (Build #2016172927)
Thanks for the help

While I can't help with the other issues (and yes, unless you're eager to test an unfinished development version, daily driving Nightly just for the early access might not be the best really) the Tab Groups feature flag got enabled in Beta and Nightly by default in 152, and now is rolling out in Release 153 — if you didn't see it there, check you have the necessary remote features enabled: support.mozilla.org/questions/1596723

153 should have tab group:

Hello wxie,
thank you for clearing that up. But I wouldn't be here if I could find it with with a link from a simple Google search. I went to that link first before I asked for support. If I could simply just pull a Tab into another tab to make a group I would have done that and I tried to do that but it did not work.
OK. Mine version is Firefox for Android Nightly 154.0, and tab group works. Tab group was introduced around 141 as I remember, so 153 should work.
Hello Wxie,
Well I can say it's not working for me and I don't see the ability to update to 154 is that the beta?

So I only recently seen the ad for Tab Grouping on my Firefox home page, I would say less than a week ago in the UK. but I can say this for sure I've kept Firefox up to date on my phone permanently and I've been using Firefox on Android for about two years now, and it has never had tab grouping. I don't know when 141 released so I don't know how long Firefox has had tab grouping, but I've never had access to it. I use tab grouping constantly on brave browser Android and on Mozilla Firefox windows. I don't know if this matters but the phone I use is a Rog phone 7 ultimate.

It's Nightly, you can check the release channel for Nightly. https://www.firefox.com/en-US/download/all/
Hey Wxie,
Thank you for your help, before I swap over from Firefox to Firefox nightly what is the difference besides all the features that are missing like the VPN which shows up in ninety and how comes it's not on base Firefox?
Nightly is for testing purpose, and it may have bugs, so if you want a stable use of Firefox, Nightly is not a suitable choice. However, Nightly has newer features for future releases.
Beta is an unstable testing and development platform. By default, Beta sends data to Mozilla — and sometimes our partners — to help us handle problems and try ideas.

Hello again Wxie,
so I've been using nightly since you told me about it, everything seems to be working fine there's only one small hiccu. even though I'm signed in, I cannot share a website from nightly to Firefox on my PC. My specific issue is when I press share nothing shows up unlike on base Firefox on my pc and phone wychopath show nightly and each other. I know this is going to sound stupid but no I did not test if I could send a website from my PC to nightly forgot to do that check. But I can confirm that I cannot share a website from my phone Firefox to nightly.

Hello JBR,
Thank you for your reply. From that I can see it's not been rolled out yet to base Firefox and it's still in beta. Which is nightly, but besides not being able to share things, I prefer nightly. mainly because I have way too many tabs open on base Firefox to a point that it closes tabs to save memory, and Firefox doesn't really have a solution for tabs management besides close all one by one. So I don't believe I will be leaving nightly anytime soon, here's to hopping the share future gets fixed.
