search function for vertical tabs
I recently decided to try vertical tabs in Firefox, and can't find a way to search these tabs as I could when they were horizonal, with the downward pointing arrowhead. If this is a feature, please let me know how to add it to my sidebar, and if not, it would be great if this feature could be developed. Thanks!

1. Using the Tab Search Feature
While the vertical tabs feature does not have a dedicated search bar, you can still use the general tab search feature in Firefox:
Tab Search: You can access the tab search feature by clicking on the tab icon (the icon that looks like a stack of tabs) in the top right corner of the Firefox window. This will show you a list of all open tabs, and you can type in the search box to filter through them.
2. Using Extensions
There are several extensions available that can enhance tab management in Firefox, including searching through tabs. Here are a couple of popular options:
Tab Center Redux: This extension allows you to manage your tabs in a vertical sidebar and includes a search feature. You can install it from the Firefox Add-ons site.
Tree Style Tab: This is another popular extension that provides a vertical tab management experience with additional features, including searching and organizing tabs in a tree structure. You can find it on the Firefox Add-ons site.
'3. Feedback to Mozilla'
If you feel that a search feature for vertical tabs would be beneficial, you can provide feedback to Mozilla. They often consider user feedback for future updates. You can do this by visiting the Mozilla Bugzilla and submitting a feature request. 4. Check for Updates
Make sure you are using the latest version of Firefox, as features and functionalities are regularly updated. You can check for updates by clicking on the menu button (three horizontal lines) > Help > About Firefox.
