Junkmail Not Being Deleted Automatically

I've set everything to automatically delete junkmail. However, it just moves the junkmail to the junk folder, whereas I want them to be deleted immediately. I have the accounts set up to move junk to trash, but they are still going to the junk folder. Any ideas? Thanks!

Is this a yahoo account by any chance? Sounds like it.

Nope. Ordinary pop mail accounts.
