I want to access a website I have used before but all I get today is a blank blue page, even though the correct website address is in the upper left corner field. I checked and it does not appear to be blocked but regardless of what I have done I cannot get anything other than the blank blue page. I am not having trouble with any other websites. What do I do?

Cheers

Hi, first try in another browser - such as Edge. If it's OK, in Firefox delete ALL references to the website in question, as shown under the heading 'How do I remove a single website from my history?' in this article - Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox, then try the site (not from an old bookmark) again. Note: It may take a minute to complete the deletion.

Incidentally, you have 4 versions of Shockwave Flash - which can cause problems, so all but the latest should be removed from your machine -

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

Dear Scribe,

Thank you for your reply. I checked another browser and the website came up just fine. So I deleted the website history and that did not have an impact so I uninstalled and installed Flash Player as suggested on the links you gave me, and neither of these processes had any impact either.

Dear FredMcD,

The website I am struggling with is https://www.developmentaid.org/

Thank you both for trying to help, much appreciated. Kathleen

(I should add that when I was searching as to how to solve this before I posted my question I ran across the information that I had accessed this website some 100 times previously.)

When I accessed the site, this is how the page started to load. Then it finished loading.
