I want to get rid of the annoying bookmark sidebar, permanently! How do I do it?

I did not request this to appear on my screen. It just started appearing. If I check the little X it clears for that particular screen, but as soon as I change to a different screen I have to do it all over again, which can be very annoying when you are in a deep thought process on a document. Please tell me how to get rid of it forever.

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Click the little bookmark button in the toolbar (not the star)
  2. Uncheck View Bookmark Sidebar

This should work. If it doesn't you can try the keyboard shortcut of Ctrl + B.
