hello, in which way should this scanner interact with firefox?

I get notice on screen I have Hardware and it is the Scanner - HP 3970.

If you connect new hardware to the computer then Windows will notify and try to find and install drivers to make the device work.
Can you remember if Windows finished installing that device?

This problem isn't related to Firefox, so you either need to contact HP for support or try to ask advice at a Windows oriented forum.
