Firefox highlights search boxes in light blue and I cannot see what I'm typing. How do I fix this?
Recently firefox started highlighting the background color in search boxes/fields (ie. google) in a light blue color and I cannot see what I'm typing in the field. Please help. Thanks.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

This cleared for me when I disabled Comcast's Constant Guard extension. No option to set the CG highlighting effects.
