I am still getting Yahoo search not working in latest version
I am still getting behavior, after updating to 154.0.1 (64-bit) today, where I'll do a search in the address bar (which is set to have Yahoo Search as my homepage and default browser), and simply nothing happens. I do not know what is going on. This is now the second update that has this erroneous behavior. It doesn't matter if I turn on or off the associated Yahoo Search extension, whether I go through Yahoo's own address bar or my own on the homepage, etc. It simply doesn't regularly work, anymore.

Hi. 1. which is set to have Yahoo Search as my homepage and default browser
But Yahoo is not a browser, so maybe remove that idea.
2. You say you have an 'associated yahoo extension' there are a few, which do you use?
Seems Yahoo is again trying something and not exactly succeeding: support.mozilla.org/questions/1600325
The hint to leverage a VPN to connect via a different location sounds worth trying.

1. But, I'd like to use Yahoo as my homepage.
2. Yahoo Toolbar and New Tab, but as I said, it makes no difference in the problem I'm experiencing whether I turn it on or off.
This is an issue with the Firefox browser.

And is it the same in new Private Window as well?
Have you tried any of these steps?
- Start with clearing Firefox cache.
- If it does not help, try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
- If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. If the problem doesn't persist, please follow the steps from this article to troubleshoot further.
- Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield
icon in the left part of the address bar. If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
- If nothing from the above helps, try creating a new Firefox profile and check if the issue persists there. If it doesn't, you can start copying files from your old profile to the new one to identify which one causes the issue. See this article on what files to copy.

To be sure, this is not the issue I am having. Yahoo homepage shows up just fine. It's when I'm trying to do searches in the Yahoo Search bar - or Firefox's address bar using Yahoo - that I will hit "enter" and nothing happens. If I hit it enough, it will often finally pull up the search results. But it's a hit-and-miss proposition.
You might wanna liaise with Yahoo! about the reliability, compatibility or interoperability of their services.
(Do you BTW see the same if you change your network, to e.g. a neighbor, café or using a mobile hotspot to compare?)
