Mozilla has disabled the 1Password extension. I've used this version of 1Password extension for years without issue so do not share Mozilla concerns. How do I override the disabling to continue using 1Password as the risk is acceptable to me? It is more important to me to be able to use 1Passsword than Mozilla, so I'll switch to another browser if Mozilla won't let me make my own risk determination.

No, I'm using version 4.7.5.90 of the 1Password extension to support 1Password 6, the version before it went from one-time payment to subscription only. The warning notice says "They may choose to enable the add-on again at their own risk." but doesn't say HOW to do that. That's what I'm looking for.

That is just the explanation of why it is disabled. That warning notice says "They may choose to enable the add-on again at their own risk." but doesn't say HOW to do that. That's what I'm looking for.

You would normally do that via the about:addons page and move the slider from off to on.

Sorry, I was using the wrong term. My 1Password extension is "restricted". How do I override the restriction and use it anyway?

A web extension doesn't work with all websites, several Mozilla domains are excluded because extension running there have special powers, if that is what you mean. The built-in Firefox Password Manager works on all websites.

Extensions do not work on Mozilla websites because content scripts are blocked on several restricted domains that have special permissions to access and modify personal data.
