When I copy and transfer a Thunderbird profile to a new computer, will the transferred information include the files attached to e-mails?
Hello,
I will be buying a new computer in the near future. I expect to transfer to the new computer the Thunderbird profiles of two e-mail accounts currently on our old computer by copying the profiles to a USB thumb drive. I have been able to locate the Thunderbird profiles on the old computer. I would like to know: When I copy and transfer a Thunderbird profile to a new computer, will the transferred information include the files attached to e-mails?

Attached files are stored in the same place as message bodies, so yes, when the profile is transferred, the attached files are included.
