Control audio or video with keyboard - disable

Aaaaand found the solution... search ''about:config'' in the URL bar. Then search ''media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled''. Toggle this to ''false''. You then need to restart Firefox. Hope this helps someone else who wants to use keyboard play/pause solely for iTunes, Spotify, or other apps other than Firefox.
