Picking bookmark ignores Desktop Site toggle

If I set the Menu + Desktop Site toggle, then select a bookmark, the Desktop Site toggle is ignored, and reset.

This makes it impossible to load a bookmark targeted for a desktop site.

Above is using Firefox on Android v81.1.1 on Android 11 with a Pixel 3

What happens when you open the site first and then select desktop mode?

The web-site chooses to load a smartphone URL, that doesn't support the function I require.

BTW, this is a regression error, I suspect introduced by the Firefox Daylight improvements. It used to work a different way.

I believe this discussion more correctly belongs in the Firefox for Android forum.

I am not using the Beta app at this time.
