Why does my computer switch out of a application mid-session to Firefox when Firefox open in background?
I will have Firefox open, usually to Youtube (but paused in video or a video has not been started), while a different application (like a game) will be in focus and running, and suddenly it will swap focus to the Firefox window. This interferes with the other application in use.

Possibly you woke it up with a keyboard command.
