Oh, I haven't downloaded it though! :D I got my browser to let me know of updates and was considering updating it sometime soon but noticed that. I saw somewhere where the plugins are disabled besides Flash, is this true or not? I have at least one plug in I need for a game (the Unity one you see in my system details). Java is on my PC mostly for other stuff but not so much anything browser based that I know of. No add-ons are affected, correct? I only got Personas and ABP so hopefully those still work. :D

Extensions should still work unless it is for very specific Firefox versions like say one from antivirus clients.

Windows 7 and later is still supported however Windows XP and Vista support was dropped as of Fx 53.0 though they can use the Fx 52 ESR.

Do you know if the Unity plug-in still works then? Cuz I need that for a game on FB that I play off and on. Otherwise, I won't be updating for a long time. :/

As the first article shows you need to use the 32-bit Firefox 52 ESR to use other Plugins.

Okay, so what's this mean for games that need Unity to run like this one? It's the Dino Hunter: Deadly Shores game on Facebook and I believe Frozen Free Fall use to work on PC and required something to play as well. I can't get it to open. Guess they made it app-only now. :/

Unless there is something wrong with the games : Those games should work just fine (if plugins are needed) when you use the 32-bit ESR Firefox version, like James said earlier.

Yes but I am also asking about the newer version and if anyone has played/tried them since then. That way I can keep up to date properly and still play them.

I usually let them get so far out of date and then update them. That's not really the biggest concern for me atm. XD I am more worried about a game that takes a different add-on to play.
