version 50.0.2 has serious bugs in spell checker, can I back up to older version
Version in "about tab" is 50.0.2 I believe was just updated. Since update spell checker has become a problem. When I try to use it the program locks up. Must use task manager to close it. A copy of usually 90% plus is in drafts when I restart. Also will not just send with words (like proper names ) it does not understand. I am running Windows 8. I have the setup for version 45.5.1 and tried to install it ... no help

Hi Paul-Yorke, your question ended up under Thunderbird -- the email program -- rather than Firefox -- the browser. Based on your references to version numbers, it sounds like the problem is in Firefox, but then you mentioned "drafts." Could you clarify the program and, if appropriate, the website where the problem occurs?
Sorry about the confusion. I must have opened the wrong "about tab" the Thunderbird version I am having trouble with is 45.5,1. Also sorry about the time to reply....first time user and navigation a bit of an issue
