Netflix error after Firefox update (34.0.5)
Went to bed watching Netflix, then awoke a few hours later to find that Firefox had auto updated to 34.0.5 and that I could no longer access any Netflix video... I receive a Netflix Error Code N8152, which refers to a DRM/Silverlight error. Netflix continues to work properly in IE and Chrome.
Following Netflix's instructions, I've uninstalled/reinstalled Silverlight multiple times (making sure I have the newest version). I've verified that Silverlight plug-in is set to "Always Activate" and that it is "Allowed" and Enabled for Netflix.com. (I have also followed all of Netflix's other troubleshooting tips, even though I know they are not relevant, such disabling virus protection software, and adding Netflix.com as a trusted site, etc...
I have also tried some of the other various "fixes" such as forcing new downloads of the mspr.hds file, but to no avail.
Any guidance would be appreciated.

hi tommyj1112, microsoft has released a defective update for silverlight through the monthly patchday yesterday (and disabled it again afterwards). can you try this fixit tool to restore your installation https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2608523 or else reinstall silverlight manually?

I have the same problem - it has nothing to do with silverlight, I reinstalled it, and still same issue. I disabled my flashblock, and the video runs. I don't want to have to stop using flashblock.
I have the same problem. I follow Philipp´s chosen solution several times but still "netflix" is not working. It works with "explorer" and with "chrome" because (as the guys at "netflix" told me) those two browsers do not use the silverlight "plug-in. But I do not want to use anything but "firefox".
