I just signed up for the annual VPN coverage. I've signed in and have selected an area of the world to have my ip address associated. However, I now am in a loop.

I click the VPN logo on the top right of Firefox, I'm told to "Get started" by logging in.

I click "get started" and am told I've successfully already logged in.

I'm then told to click the "Turn VPN on" switch at the VPN logo.

I click the VPN logo and am told to log on, again. And again and again...

I've restared Firefox. I've restarted my Mac. Same thing again and again

Help?

I cannot recall my keepass password. I used my fingerprint to access. I put my password in keepass with it showing up when I opened the app but the app is all wonky in an endless deathloop and I cannot use my finger to access the database. What can I do?

I can't log into an email from my health site called MyMercy to get lab reports, etc., using Firefox; Have to switch to Google Chrome to do it. Is Firefox aware of this issue? Please respond [edited email from community support forum]

I'm being threatened by email with closure of my account unless I sign in by clicking a button in the message. As far as I can tell, I am signed in. So these emails are fraudulent?

After I key in all my passwords they disappear after a while. sometimes they last a week of two,and other times just a few days. One time it happened when fire fox did a update . Any help would be appreciated.

I’m using Firefox on Windows 11 and I’ve noticed that my saved logins are not being remembered after restarting the browser. Cookies are enabled and “Delete cookies on exit” is turned off.

I’ve also checked:

Enhanced Tracking Protection is set to Standard I’m not using private browsing mode No extensions are actively clearing data

But the issue still persists.

Has anyone faced this before or knows what setting could be causing Firefox to forget sessions?

I'm trying to start my VPN . It wont load from my start up page. when I open the firefox page it shows a green checmark with Vpn in the heading bar,but to the right the vpn icon has a red dot.

l have had numerous problems with passwords not being accepted, and also when l needed help for the reason is that la am82 years old and l am realy trying hard to understand progres however l can usualy get by. However when l need help it is not forthcoming where as it used to be.

Hi! I didn't set up a passkey on PayPal Business and the best that PayPal can figure, it was done by Firefox. I don't have the PIN for this passkey and I can't set-up another passkey because my account "already has a passkey". I can't change the passkey PIN because I don't know the PIN. I'd like to know:

• Why would Firefox set up a passkey on PayPal business for me? ( I think that should be my decision, thank you very much.)
• Given that one was "set-up" for me; where is the passkey hidden? Any clues on that?
• Is there anyway to get Firefox to undo the passkey (or tell me the PIN) that I didn't request so I don't have to switch to Edge just to go to PayPal Business. It's ridiculous!
• Has this happened to anyone else or has anyone heard of this.

The work around that PayPal recommended is that I go to PayPal from another browser. I always use Firefox and sort of resent having to switch browsers for this reason just for this account. From Microsoft Edge and I can go to my PayPal business account and just sign in with my password and there is no request for a passkey PIN. I'm not setting up a passkey at this point, which would only be wrong if I use Firefox to log on. So I'll stick with switching to Edge for the time being! Maybe someone can give me a clue.

PS: I tried to get a screenshot of the pop-up related to this issue that says "requested by Firefox" but I wasn't allowed to get a screenshot from there.

Mozilla VPN repeatedly gives "authentication error" when I try to log in, I have tried reset but no difference. I am working on Linux Mint with Firefox. Any tips?

Firefox continually shows pop ups for a passkey and it will not let me sign into a webpage without it. I have seen a way to disable the pop ups online, but I am 84 and not techy. If I cannot stop them, I will stop using Firefox and Use

Hi a few weeks ago i had the problem that my firefox-stored-passwords are gone and there are files named logins.json.corrupt and logins.json-1.corrupt to -4 The in dir backup was also corrupt. File length 122 -123 kb all nulls. If i look at the dates first to last, they span two weeks were i didnt notice the problem. PC is always hibernated after work. Except for one which i imported just before from edge at the end of the two week span No problem: logins replaced by external backup as i found here at the forum.

But: How can Firefox produce multiple corrupt files without noticing me? (I have saved them for reference) In that two weeks span logins using firefox passwords obviously worked. (I dont remember the details)

Then some updates and reboots. No problem. But after work i do always hibernation

TODAY: PC didnt survive hibernation. logins and in-dir backup are corrupt again.

What about a) checking better if something is going wrong (obiously you do something because you rename the files for some reason) b) Noticing the user c) And how on earth this can go wrong in the first place.

Now for the obscure: Both times somebody has just before posted something against the greatest President of all time at Fux Nus using this pc. Backdoor possible?

This morning I tried to sign in to my Credit Union account. I clicked on my sign-in name, nothing there. I went to my password for my Credit Union account & the entire password manager listing is blank. There are no accounts listed at all. Have someone stolen my information? Did I press something wrong to delete them? I'm 78 years old & not very computer knowledgeable. I have used Firefox for maybe 15 years old & have never had any kind of problem before. Kind I restore this part of my account?

I just started using Firefox (instead of Safari) and when I try to sign into some of my websites (e.g. banking) they want to send my a security code to verify it is me. I NEVER get those text messages/SMS. Most of the times I found a work-around, like having them email the code, but for my bank they only will send it as a text message. Is it some setting I need to adjust in Firefox?
