bold texti have a thunderbird profile on exterior drive I have installed linux mint on my PC but cannot locate the profile to use my old TB profile -either by replacing it or renaming the old profile for the linux one

i already tried to delete the cookies and cache, but 1 user is still muted for no reason and everyone/everything else works fine, so is there something wrong with the browser ?

i basically got like 2-3 completely different users muted for no reason, but at the moment i can only remember 1 of them and noone else has been added to the bug list ever since... and it basically happened when the Firefox itself got really low on memory again and started to display that red crash button. and even then, many different users crashed, but some did not even get the sound back anymore, while others did with no issue....

ps. i also found the other streamer now and both of them i was following, so that is also really weird, plus i havent noticed anyone else getting muted again, so maybe its just the ones that i followed ??? (and during the red crash button then)

I am experiencing a severe issue with the macOS system print dialog handling in Thunderbird, which started immediately after updating to version 152.

Environment

   * OS: macOS Tahoe 15.5.1 (26.5.1)
   * Hardware: Apple M4 (Silicon)
   * Thunderbird Version: 152 (Issue present) / 151 (Works perfectly)

Description of the problem: When I use the native macOS system print dialog within Thunderbird and select either "Open in Preview", Instead of opening the Preview app Thunderbird bypasses the command and immediately sends the document directly to the default physical printer. The same happens with "Save as PDF", the file-saving dialog is first presented, but after entering the filename the document is also sends to the default physical printer rather than being saved.

Steps to reproduce:

  * Open an email in Thunderbird v152.
  * Select Print...
  * in the Print Dialog window, select "Print using the system dialog" 
  * The system print dialog is opened
  * Click the PDF dropdown and select "Open in Preview" or "Save as PDF".

  Result: The document is instantly printed on the physical printer instead of performing the macOS system action.

Steps taken:

  * Tested with Thunderbird v151: The macOS system print dialog works perfectly as intended.
  * Upgraded to v152: The issue appears immediately and consistently.
  * All other applications (Safari, Chrome, Microsoft products, Apple Mail) work correctly 

This seems to be a serious regression in how Thunderbird v152 handles native macOS print system events and dialog actions on Apple Silicon / macOS Tahoe.

Any help or a fix for this would be greatly appreciated.

I've switched from K-9 to Thunderbird for Android.

One difference I've noticed is that the message notifications remain in the launcher even after I've deleted those messages in Thunderbird. Thus, I have to handle messages twice.

Is there a setting to make notifications go away when the underlying messages have been deleted?

I need your assistance regarding password protection for the Thunderbird email client.

I have configured an IMAP account in Thunderbird and enabled the **Primary Password** feature. However, if I cancel or skip the password prompt during startup, Thunderbird still opens successfully, and all previously synchronized email messages in the Inbox remain accessible. The user is also able to view the mailbox and access email content.

My requirement is that "Thunderbird should not open, display any email messages or allow Send/Receive operations unless the correct password is entered".

Could you please advise if this functionality is supported natively or suggest the recommended approach to achieve this?

As per the title. I have allowed external content for one message (it is disabled by default). Finding the option to do that was easy, because there is a specific message with a drop-down menu to configure access to external content for that particular message.

However, now that I have allowed external content, I do not wish to keep it allowed (no need for external parties to know when and where I open and re-open and re-re-open this e-mail). The drop-down menu to manage the privacy options for this particular message has disappeared. That is inconvenient, to say the least, because I can't see any other way to get to those options. What am I missing?

Well it never opens when I write ww. Wattpad. Com it's loads then says err timed out iver asked chatgpt and it suggested ask firefox so here I am do you think wattpad will work on Firefox cause it isn't working on Chrome Also I want to read the accardi obessions series

I have several MBOX files with me and I want to import MBOX files into the Thunderbird email client. I've come across different methods, including manual techniques and third-party tools, but I'm unsure which approach is the most efficient, especially when dealing with multiple or large-sized MBOX files. Some methods also seem complicated for users who are not very technical.

Morning.....I subscribe to PennLive.com (part of the Patriot News group in PA) and have a paid subscription. For several years, there were no ads with a paid subscription. I also have set up on Firefox a custom anti-tracker which blocks cookies, ads and the like. it works on most sites. However, on Penn Live I am getting all sorts of ads jumping around many of which are just plain gross. Ads for belly and arm fat (with pictures), drinks for brain health etc. How do I fix this? What other protections do I need to add on Firefox? This needs to stop and contacting Penn Live has not made a difference. Thanks.

Nach dem letzten Update auf Version 150.0 wurde ich auf den integrierten VPN-Support hingewiesen. Eine Aktivierung ist nicht nöglich, da ich die Aufforderung zur Aktivierung nicht finde. Gehöre ich noch nicht zu denAuserwählten oder verstehe ich etwas falsch?

ich hatte bereits Anfang des Jahres beim Einrichten meines Laptops Probleme damit, meine Lesezeichen wiederherzustellen. Damals habe ich es jedoch mithilfe eines älteren Profils geschafft.

Nun musste ich den Laptop neu aufsetzen und finde die passende Sicherungsdatei der Lesezeichen nicht mehr. Ich wollte die Lesezeichen daher wieder wie gewohnt zurückholen. Leider gibt es jedoch kein älteres Profil als 24 Stunden. Das bedeutet, dass alle Lesezeichen verschwunden sind.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, auf ein Profil zuzugreifen, das ein oder zwei Wochen oder sogar vier Monate alt ist? Und vor allem wie komm ich da ran?

wie kann ich den ad blocker bei firefox deaktivieren ? weil bei yahoo werden die eingabefelder fuer Bestätigungscodes nicht angezeigt und ich kann somit meine telefonnummer nicht verfizieren

Das VPN lässt sich in der neusten Version optisch zwar aktivieren, scheint aber nicht zu funktionieren. Die 50GB bleiben ständig erhalten und reduzieren sich nicht , trotz durch Test´s mit erhöhtem Datenvolumen. Auch erreichen mich bei aktivierten VPN wieder vermehrt SPAM und Ähnliches.
