How do we set up Thunderbird to use company email through Google
we have company email through Google, gmail. How do you set up Thunderbird to use a gmail account of the form user.cadpartsusa.com?

Matt, thanks for your reply. I've tried doing that. There seems to be a with encrypted passwords. The longer I fool with it the closer I get.
Success...Just took a little tweaking. I'm off and running.
for the future (and my education). What extra did you need to do.
Server settings: changed the .cadpartsusa.com to imap.gmail.com Server settings: changed Authentication method to Normal password
Outgoing server (SMTP) Changed server name to smtp.gmail.com Changed Authentication method to Normal password
