The bookmarks manager is part of Google Chrome, the equivalent in Firefox is the Library.

If it is the library that you are having difficulty finding, that article has not been updated for Firefox 4. To access the library, click on the Firefox button, then open the Bookmarks sub-menu and select "Show All Bookmarks", that will open the library that the article refers to in the "Import bookmarks into Firefox" section.

An alternative is to use the old style menus, you can press either Alt or F10, this will temporarily display the menus. You can then use the bookmarks menu that the article refers to.

This post is for the latest Firefox 4;

Option No. 1: To get Bookmark Manager use: Ctrl+Shift+B

Option No. 2: Press F10 and you will see the old style Bookmarks on the top. Click on Bookmarks->Show All Bookmarks This will take you to Bookmark Manager.

Use it to Export or Import your favorite Bookmarks into the latest Firefox 4..:)

Version 4 changed the bookmark manager's name to "Show All Bookmarks" under the Bookmarks menu. This change must confused many Firefox users.

Both 1st and 2nd post works.

TonyE: select "Show All Bookmarks", that will open the library

OMG seriously!? If the "Show All Bookmarks" link opens the Library then why isn't the link called "Library"? That is ridiculous! And typical of developers who seem to get a kick out of making things more difficult than they need to be.

When I chose "Show bookmarks", a new window popped up, but there is no choice to import or export bookmark!!! So WHERE I CAN FIND IT? In my Firefox 4.01 && Ubuntu, Ctrl-Shift-B DOESNOT open the bookmark manager, could anybody tell me the key combination? I'm really angry with this, a simple thing has been made too too complicated unnecessarily. Everything worked well before 4.0, so what's the point to change it and not working at all???

By the way, I struggled 2 evenings without success. My simple purpose is to import my bookmark (I have it both as HTML adn JSON format), so I can start to use the new firefox.
