New tab shortcuts. Shortcuts disappear for no reason
Sometimes on the new tabs shortcuts appear or disappear between sessions. What is the process behind the shortcuts on the new page?

I recently spent an entire day creating shortcuts to everything I use regularly. (Including paid courses) The whole lot disappeared in one go. I hadn't written them all down. It isn't the first time this has happened, but definitely the most upsetting. Everything was pinned.... it worked so well for weeks, then suddenly all gone again.
Are you sure it's not related to your whole profile not loading, as hinted at in your question: support.mozilla.org/questions/1595496 …?
