The wonderful CardBook addon has always been able to connect to iCloud Contacts without any issue, but Thunderbird never has. https://gitlab.com/CardBook/CardBook/-/tree/master

Now Thunderbird 102 supports CardDAV protocol, but iCloud still does not work.

The categories are stored in the pref "calendar.categories.names". I'd check to see if it's set first.

I don't see that "calendar.categories.names" anywhere in my prefs.js file, and I don't see how that correlates to the issue I described anyway. I am trying to get my iCloud contact address book, not a calendar.
