The VPN turns itself off frequently...using it on my Android phone. It seems that every time I close my browser (Firefox), if I check the VPN status it is is off; although I have turned it on and connected it prior to browsing. I cannot find a setting that seems to deal with this. Please advise how to maintain service.

Did you ever experience wifi/cell signal issues? I'm thinking either the connection was lost due to poor signal or maybe your android device turned the vpn off to save memory/battery.

I'm not sure if it would help, but I would disable battery optimization for the vpn and see if that helps.
