address book
It's possible to move the address book of thunderbird to a new directory in the cloud storage to sync the address book. It seems like the mail server setting. It shows as the attached picture.

Use TbSync to sync TB with cloud address books.

Thank you, It (TbSync 2.12) can not be installed in TB v.31.4. Should I update it to the newest one? If synchronization of the address book is for TB only, could synchronization of TB address book be made as the attached jpg shown?
TbSync isn't compatible with any version of TB lower than 60. Storing the entire profile on a cloud server will (maybe) synchronize the profile, including address books, across multiple computers, but the downsides are far more significant than the benefits. Your best bet is to update TB to a current version, set up accounts as IMAP (to sync the mail), and use TbSync or the equivalent to sync the address books.
Thanks, I still put mail messages on a cloud disk and the setting files on the local disk. If it put the profiles on a cloud disk, It will synchronize the profiles very often. It is better the developer can make sync the address book similar to relocate the mail server such as the last jpg.
How to use or install the update files of Thunderbird or Firefox? The file extension is mar like firefox-56.0.complete.mar or thunderbird-60.0.complete.mar Thanks
It's not necessary to use the .mar files; just download and run the full installer and install over your existing version, or first uninstall the existing version. The profile folder with your data is unaffected.
Thank you, got it.
