Getting a Yahoo error page when searching from a new tab in Firefox

I open a new tab in Firefox & the page looks different from the home page that comes up when I start Firefox. It still has Google as the selected search engine though & this is fine. I then search for something (in this case "climate skeptic's handbook") and Firefox comes back with what seems to be a Yahoo error page (see attached). This never used to happen - I think it only started in the last couple of days.

Save your Report and google each before deleting anything as do not want to delete something you need, If need help :
