
I have an app "BackupThunderbird" which fails "BT has stopped working" :-( What can I do?
The BackupThunder (BT) program fails 'immediately' after startup. Included in the error msg is a statement that "Windows will close the program and notify you (me) if a solution is available" Windows does not close the error msg screen and I have heard nothing from them. The last time I ran this program was 1 week ago, on April 2nd, 2018. I have tried it repeatedly with no success, i.i. getting the same msg. I tried to upload a screen shot of the error msg, but it did not complete.

In any case, no 3rd-party software is needed in order to backup the Thunderbird profile. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_backing-up-a-profile

Thank you! I replaced the Backup Thunderbird program - it worked OK again. But will also check-out your suggested Mozilla link/solution :-)
