Personal address book and collected address book are deleted
I deleted my personal & collected address books because I was using another one with my old outlook addresses. How can I get my computer to show the first 2 again? I don't have anything showing "all address books" to click on.

How did you manage to delete them? Did you remove the files in your profile folder, or just hide them some way in Thunderbird? Deleting them should not be possible from within Thunderbird, and they should be restored when successful in any way.
If only the left pane view is missing in the Address Book, choose View > Layout > Directory Pane. (Note that F9 no longer toggled this pane.) Is the pane there, but totally empty? And how about its Contacts pane?

I was typing an email and sent it. When I went back to send another email, the contact list in my address book was all but gone. I have not had this problem before today.
I have 5 contacts in my address book now but the normal contacts were 25 or so and they are gone. How can this happen? I didn't make any changes.
How do I get my address book back to what it was?
