How can i get my Firefox restart option and button to work?
I recently input "Firefox restart" as an add-on which added this option to my Firefox drop-down file menu. However when I select it, nothing happens. Further, when I added restart to my add-ons, the restart button did not appear. However, I found it under Firefox "Customize" and dragged it to my tool bar. But it also doesn't work. How can I activate this tool?

What is the name of this add-on?
There are many such add-ons listed. Try another one. Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.
The full name of the add-on is "Restart Firefox 0.5.1- signed"
If it is not working, disable it and try another. You can also check with it's support site.
Do you see any error messages in the Browser Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) immediately after starting Firefox about this extension?
Nope. No error messages.
I tried the extension and see an error message about a missing entity after I click the Restart entry in the File menu.

You will have to look for another restart extension that still works.
