Again, I upgraded my firefox to 26.0 and lost the Norton Toolbar. I now have to use IE (which I don't want to use). I am at a loss as to why Firefox doesn't want people who use Norton to use Firefox Will I ever be able to have the Norton Toolbar on Firefox 26.0 ?

You have to do live update in Norton for every Firefox release as unlike most extensions the one provided by antivirus clients for example needs to be updated for every Firefox release. Norton has had their extension updates for each new Firefox release often on same day since Firefox 5.0.

I had lost (disabled) the Norton toolbar when I updated to Firefox 26. Live update was run until no updates available and no change. Have a 2nd PC in the house and everything worked with Firefox 26 update. I had to remove and reinstall Norton and tool bar works fine.
