Firefox gets stuck at startup from launching the program but doesn't by starting with launching a hyperlink
if I launch FF by the desktop-button or from the start bar, it will be stuck immediately after the window is displayed. if I launch by clicking an hyperling e.g. in an e-mail, FF works correctly, the same if launching as administrator. We tried several times to re-install FF also by deleting all profile data. java also has been deleted. Th problem doesn't disappear. FF also works correctly if starting it in a different accont on the computer. The problem started after having opened a hyperlink, where a advert popped up which I clicked off immediately. The problem occures also immediately after re-installing with unchanged factory settings.

Try to delete the current desktop icon and create a new icon to lunch Firefox in case there is a problem with this desktop shortcut.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
Thank you for your tip.
I deleted the desktop-link and made a new one by dragging from the firefox.exe file.
But the problem still exists.
Using FF in admin-mode is no good solution, because you always get asked, wether you want to let Firefox change your system.
Is there another possible solution?
I tried another way: I put any www-link (our homepage) as launching link on the desktop. The hanging is the same.
But if I start with a hyperlink in an Outook-e-mail, everything works correctly. What's the difference?
Can anybody help me?
