this worked for a number of afflicted users:

  • Type "about:config" into the address bar, then press Enter.
  • Accept the Warning
  • In the Search bar on this page, Search for "browser.newtab.url" (without

quotes).

  • Right click it, and click "reset"
  • Restart Firefox.

Do the following: Click your start button, go to control Panel, go to uninstall a program, and remove babylon, browser protection, anything that looks suspicious.

Open up Firefox, type about:addons into the address bar, press Enter. go to Extensions. Remove Anything related to Babylon or that you don't know what it is.

Run https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/
