I just installed Mozilla Firefox Version 13. I am having following troubles

1) When I type Website address, no text appear on screen. However, If I type address (no text appears, but I just type) and press enter, and than "restore down" firefox and than maximize again, the website is opened. 2) When I open a new tab, Mozilla is just hanged. I "restore down" and than maximize, and Mozilla start working again. For sure, Mozilla start working again when I Restore down and Maximize again But off course, I cannot Restore down and maximize again againa and again whenever I open a new tab.

Hi there,

This type of problem usually happens when there's an incompatible add-on. You said you just installed Firefox so I'd like to clarify one thing. Mozilla doesn't keep your personal settings in the same folder as it keeps the program files, so if you used to run an older version of Firefox then Firefox will use your old files. So if you could confirm if this is the first time you've ever installed Firefox on this machine that would be great.

Also just to be sure go to the add-ons menu and double check that nothing is listed. Some programs, like Skype, will automatically install add-ons when you install Firefox and sometimes they can cause issues.
