Since update to 5.0 with Twitter Search I can't print web pages. Big problem! How to fix?

I need to print webpages very frequently for my business and can no longer print preview or print, no matter what method I use (pull down menu, right click, etc.). Can only print a page that has a printer icon on it. Extremely frustrating and I'm ready to return to, god forbid, Internet Explorer. I'm not a techy so things like adding add-ons is Greek to me! I'd be happy to go back to prior version of Firefox that worked if I knew how.

Can you try disabling the "HP Smart Web Printing" extension?

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Add-ons

On the left, click Extensions. There should be a Disable button for the HP Smart Web Printing.

After restarting Firefox, does printing work? (Fingers crossed!)

Did you get the new version from Twitter, rather than the built-in automatic update or the main Firefox site??

Could you post your list of Extensions (one of the kinds of add-ons). You can copy and paste it from:

Help > Troubleshooting Information

It may not look pretty, but hopefully it will still be mostly readable.

Hmm. I honestly can't remember where I got the new version from but you're right - it could have been from Twitter. Here is a list of the "Extensions" (but not the "Modified Preferences" or "Graphics"): Extensions

Great! yes, jscher2000, that worked! I don't know what that extension was all about but clearly it messed things up and now that it's disabled I seem able to print. Thank you!
