It's a bug on the Hotmail website. Mozilla has contacted the Hotmail team and they are working on a fix. You can use a workaround provided in the Blank messages in Hotmail article.

Thanks for the input, but I do not work with hotmail. I use the webmail of my local service provider telenet: http://webemail.telenet.be
