transfer of contact list from plusnet to thunderbird
My email account has just been transferred from Plusnet to greenby and I have opted to use thunderbird.. How can I get my contact list transferred to thunderbird?

If you can create a csv or vcard file, it's a simple import at tools>import.
David Thabk you for your prompt reply BUT what on earth is a"csv" or "vcard file" Tec is not on my radar as I am 90 years of age.

Okay, answering your question must be done in reverse. Instead of asking how to import from thunderbird, which is what we know, you need to answer the question to yourself, how to export from your plusnet account. are you using an email client for plusnet, or using their website? If you were using thunderbird, there is nothing to transfer since it would already be there. Let me know

There may be some confusion. Are you stating you do not use Thunderbir with Plusnet, but that you want to start using Thunderbird? After booting your computer, what steps do you use to access the Plusnet account?
