why can't I sync or download emails

I'm not getting my emails. When i try to sync, it just blinks. I use the latest version on my Samsung S24 note ultra. I've thoroughly enjoyed Thunderbird except for this intermittent issue. I've cleared my cache. I've gotten out of Thunderbird many times and restarted it. Still no new emails or syncing.

Can your provide more information about the issue and any additional steps you've taken to troubleshoot the issue. This will help narrow down where the issue may be. At the moment there are many possible reasons.

Have you checked you have a good network connection?

Are you seeing any errors in androids notification shade.

Can you check the app is successfully connecting to the server.

  1. Navigate to settings > account name > fetching mail > incoming server.
  2. Tap next.

Does this step report any errors

Have you changed any settings recently? Are you able to send emails using the app?
