my bookmarks say empty
My bookmark tab is saying empty all the bookmark folders say empty

if all your bookmark folders suddenly say empty, I’d first check whether Firefox is using a different profile or if Sync got turned off.
Go to Bookmarks → Manage Bookmarks and see if anything is showing under Other Bookmarks. Then check Settings → Sync and make sure you’re signed into the same Mozilla account as before.
If they’re still gone, don’t start deleting or reinstalling Firefox yet. Firefox may still have a backup of the bookmarks that we can restore.
What version of Firefox are you using, and did this happen after an update, restart, or anything else?
