With 03.04.2026 they began to notice that the attached emails in eml format (the attached emails have attached documents, mostly pdf) sent from yandex mail stopped opening. That sounds like an anti virus issue not a Thunderbird one. Especially if the attached EML files do not save to disk.

Thank you for your response. The antivirus has been excluded. And the .eml file can be opened and saved from Google Mail.
