Today 2/25/26 when I signed into TB, it made me authorize each email address with Yahoo..before doing so I googled and it said this was because the authorization needed to be renewed..soooo i did so for my several Yahoo-Cox accounts but now a folder that was on one account appears under another and all the email going to that account are being also sent to the other..I have checked to make sure in the tools and settings there are no forwarding indicated..any suggestions?

As a follow up--If I email account #1 t@c it appears in TB on account #1 correctly and duplicated on account #4 bd@c.

But ONLY in TB..If i go directly to Yahoo or on my email on iPhone17, the email only appears in account #1 to which I sent the email. Even if i add a folder on Account #1 on TB it duplicates on account #4

And after awhile I get an authentication error but somewhere in settings i checked and it tests communication and it said it was fine..cant find where that particular setting was..

I have 4 yahoo/cox email accounts in TB. I have 5 profile listings for Imap TB Servers.

On each of these YahooCox emails I checked the “Message Storage/local directory path” in TB Imap.mail.yahoo.com---- gh/@cox email is pointing to this unnumbered profile and looks good Imap.mail.yahoo.com-1— none of the 4 Yahoo/Cox emails point to this in the local directory listing in TB Imap.mail.yahoo.com-2---email bg@cox is pointing to this correctly in the local directory Imap.mail.yahoo.com-3—email #1 in my message t@cox is pointing to this correctly in the local directory. Imap.mail.yahoo.com-4- email #4 in my message bd@cox is pointing to this but is displaying only duplicated messages from yahoo.com-3 and not showing the emails that are on the Yahoo site for this email. These duplicated emails even say to and from the incorrect account t@c. Emails show correctly on the Yahoo site and on my iPhone. I tried to point the last one that is duplicating to the seemly unused yahoo.com-1 but it made no difference. I put it back .. I can see nowhere in the t@cox settings to duplicate it anywhere. I also even deleted the bd@c email account in TB—rebooted and added again using the TB defaults and it again pointed to the same yahoo.com-4 duplicating yahoo.com-3 and not the message on that email on the Yahoo server. Any other suggestions ? Hope I did not confuse you as it did me..I tried to explain the best I could.

I think I fixed it!!! I went into the saved passwords for TB and deleted the saved one that was created when Yahoo asked to verify yesterday. Then I tried to sign into the duplicating account in TB and alas it asked me to put in the password to verify and it finally pulled up my emails and not duplication from another. I did get an email notice saying it could not find parameters for this email so I the account in completely deleted the account in TB and and reentered using defaults and it seems to be working ok now...fingers crossed!! Note on iPhone I had to turn off that account and turn back on for mail for it to refresh..
