Hello.

1. How to save a tab group without closing it? 2. How to make individual tabs in a tab group permanent? (So when you close a tab group only the permanent members are preserved.)

Hi Larry,

1. What do you mean by saving a tab group? 2. I don't think that's currently possible without third-party addons.

Thanks for getting back to me.

When I open my Firefox browser, I would like to see my particular tab group ("Basic Tabs") among the bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar; or someplace easy to find - so that I can click it and open all those tabs. I understand that it is already possible to create a bookmark folder, put a bunch of tabs in it, and open that folder. But - suggest using Tab Groups is easier, easier still if I can add/subtract group members and then Save the new configuration. Better still "Save" without having to "Close" the group.

Thanks. I trust I have made myself obscure.

Thank you for clarifying. Still not sure why you need to close tab groups, though... They should be kept with your session and persist on restart (unless you set Firefox to start a new session every time). You can the List all tabs icon on your address bar and access your tab groups from there.

I think I have a similar problem - my tab groups don't always persist on restart. But when they do, they seem to duplicate. When I restart, a tab group may still be there, but at least one, and often many, of the tabs in that group appear again outside of the tab group. So I'm constantly deleting extra tabs. Please let me know if there's a solution for this. Tab groups are super helpful for me, but this is really diminishing that help.
