I've reinstalled and updated Firefox on my iPhone 15, but still there's a Google logo in the search box, not Firefox logo. I hate Google and don't want it in my searches.

Why is it there and how can I get rid of it?

This is an icon of your default search engine. Just go to Settings -> Search and change it to something else. There won't be Firefox logo, as Firefox is a browser, not a search engine.

Mozilla the makers of the Firefox web browsers for desktop Windows, Linux, macOS and mobile versions for iOS/iPadOS and Android does not have a search engine of their own.
