To start with, go to https://accounts.firefox.com/signin and remove your Macbook from your Firefox Account.

Next, manually Sync your copy of Firefox for iOS. This will point your passwords and bookmark data in the direction of a sync server.

Next, in Firefox on the Macbook, go to about:profiles and create a new profile. Then sign into your Firefox Account.

This should then sync your passwords to the new profile (the old one is still there just in case you need it later).
