Firefox has a feature where, if you select a tab and drag your cursor downwards while still pressing down on it, it will open that tab in a new window. Is there any way to disable this? I am frequently opening tabs in new windows when I'm just trying to view them and it drives me mad. I never use this feature intentionally- I am constantly using on accident due to quickly moving my cursor away from the tab bar to view the tab I just opened. Thank you.

Well, if you go into: about:config (put it in address bar) and change "browser.tabs.allowTabDetach" to "False" (just double click) It will no longer do that, but will also not allow you to detach the tabs ever. If you're ok with it, go ahead, did not find anything specific to the mouse movement or dragging, or found but didn't change anything.
