I have a new installation of Ubuntu 22.04 on my 2015 Lenovo IdeaPad 300. I have a new SSD HD 1 TB in size and it should work, however, Firefox keeps crashing. Other apps are crashing too.

What are your system specs? Can you install neofetch so we can get info about your system. see screenshot

I found this --> https://askubuntu.com/questions/1405021/firefox-closes-by-itself-in-ubuntu-22-04 You can run that cmd to see if there are any errors. journalctl | grep firefox | grep killed

There is also strace. It's going to create a big file, but you should see something. strace -t -o firefox_debug.txt firefox &

Thanks for the info. Are you in X11 or Wayland? How about testing KDE to see if you have the same issues. Did you test Firefox from Mozilla to see if you have the same issue. Download, unzip, and run firefox-bin in the folder. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

I would also try a usb live stick of your OS.
