Pop Up Window

When scrolling down I choose to read an article in a new window. When I open the new window, on the right side, a pop up window appears titled “Join the Conversation” or “More from Daily Express” blocking some of the article’s words. How can I stop this pop up window from appearing? Thanks.

It's possible that the site was designed for a wider display. If the problem occurs even when you maximize the window, you could try "zooming out" by holding down the Ctrl key and tapping the - key. Does the sidebar move over and stop overlapping the content if you do that?

That's from the site itself not Firefox that is doing that popup. That is what some sites are doing now as you scroll down the article a pop shows up.
